Way finder

When you enter any institution with high technology and security, you don’t need to ask someone the way for your destination. It is the same in the Acoustics building, after you enter from the main door, you can use the Way finder on your left to select your requested lab or a person, and the way finder will show the way. You can also use the Way finder to see overall view of each floor with some information about each lab.

It can be used as white board or can combine displaying material with white board capabilities to enrich the experience. Once the lecture is finished, the instructor can save everything to a flash drive or send it to their students email directly.

3D printer

3D printers are very important when it comes to working in research and students’ projects. In many cases it is convenient to use 3D printed parts for test rigs, experiments, or in mini projects than do manufacturing using outsources. The Acoustics building is equipped with two 3D printers that can work on many types of materials and have a large bed enough for large prints.

3D scanner

When you have a broken part and want a replacement or you want to manufacture some parts that will be assembled with others, you need to either have a detailed drawings or you do 3D scanning. 3D scanner is very useful to do reverse engineering to manufacture or print broken parts without having the original drawings. The PDL in the Acoustics Building is equipped with a 3D scanner in addition to the handheld scanner in the VR lab.
